Caleb was sorting through his box-o-potato head parts tonight and he found a wand type sceptor that is suposed to be part of a mermaid accessory pack for tater. He started waving it around saying “abra can dabra!” Scott said, “who is Abra and how do you dabra?”

He has been doing a lot of cute little things like that in between driving me bonkers. If I hear “I don’t know” one more time I’m going to scream. That is his answer for everything lately! Payback’s a bitch I guess, as those are famous words of mine. I’m so indescisive.

Oh I remember another thing… He’s been experimenting with emotions. He’ll say “ha-ppeeeeee” and grin really big, the say “sad” and furrow his brow and poke his lip out. When I tell him to come help me pick up toys, he first says “I can’t pick up toys mommy.” then when I insist that he help, he tells me how hard it is the whole time. If he goes to time out for something or gets in trouble/doesnt get his way for something, I hear him quietly saying to himself, “<insert long sigh here> I give up.” I know he got that one from me too. He’s heard me say it in exasperation over various things like trying to get someone to brush his teeth without sounding like we are slaughtering animals in here. I keep thinking surely the teeth thing will get better and it just never does. I am dreading the first trip to the dentist.

Caleb and I are headed to mom and dad’s for turkey day. I’m busy scouting out last minute deals for the Black Friday event. We’re getting our camcorder! I’m so excited! I’ve never had one before. I never thought I’d use the video feature on my digital camera but wow has it come in handy. My poor point and shoot is on its last leg. The cat knocked it off the table two years ago and broke the battery cover door which is being held together with tape and held closed with a rubberband. The zoom has been knocked out of calibration or something and i get a ton of out of focus mess now also. I’ve thought about getting a new digital camera Friday too. Did you know you can get a 7mp camera for like $99 bucks now?!? I’ve seen 2gb SD cards as low as 6.99 for Friday…down from $40-50. Who would i be to pass up a deal like that?!
