tryin somethin new

This picture of him looks sort of strange. Not sure what it is, his hair I think (it grew a good inch today).  I also am not much on flash photography now, but it is way too dim in here without the flash. He needs a bath, if for nothing else…to ‘reset’ his hair.  It is all crazy looking and has neosporin in it from where I scratched his forehead yesterday with my ring. His diaper was leaking (AGAIN) and since we’re having a storm, I didn’t want to waste a diaper for 30 minutes or so. I can’t make myself put the diaper back on him after his bath, even if it is clean. I’m weird about that. I can’t stand to put an already worn pair of socks on, even if I only wore them an hour. Anywho, he seems to understand that he shouldn’t pee in underwear. He has absolutely no qualms with peeing in his diaper. Couldn’t care less. I have made my mind up though. We’re talking about the potty this week and we are potty training next week. I have been brainstorming several parenting issues we are having right now. Potty training (his lack of interest) probably coming in second, only because the dreaded mealtime battle takes first place, the cake and then some. More on that later though. (You’re excited, I can tell.)

    Oh no, the potty training thing. I wish they came that way, for real!
