My friend Lauren called me today with a bit of incredible news. Some of you might remember the Coble family, I wrote a post about them this past summer. They lost all three of their precious children, Kyle, Katie and Emma, in a car accident in May. I have never been able to completely wrap my mind around that. How you would go on after something like that. Chris and Lori Coble are pregnant with triplets. Two girls and one boy. They used IVF and had some sort of genetic testing done for another reason, but the sex can be determined during this test. Out of 14 embryos, 3 were viable, so the couple took it as a sign to implant all three, instead of the previously planned two. There was a 10% chance of all three “sticking” and they did. Pray hard for this family. That they may have a safe and uneventful pregnancy. A reason for hope in an otherwise devastating first Christmas after their loss. What an incredible story.

OMG. Since you wrote about their horrific story, I go back to their site and check out news clippings and videos about them from time to time. Somehow it is all so senseless and I find that when I check on them, I kinda keep myself in check. Reminding me of how blessed my life is, I guess.
Anyway, this news is just amazing. Incredible. I wish them all the best.
