I'm so sorry! I know, first hand, how disappointed you must be because my fondant FAILED MISERABLY too. I ended up just frosting the whole pirate ship. Not sure where I went wrong- I made a batch the week before and it came out great. I colored it and used it on a tennis court cake for my Dad. Made another batch using the EXACT same marshmallow recipe, spent HOURS kneading it, then used a whole jar of Wilton's brown to color it, and it was aweful!! Dry, cracked, you name it. I was so upset. So yes, I definitely feel for you, and I know what your wrist must be feeling like too ;), but I am also sure Caleb will love the cake no matter what. Oh no! I’m so sorry!
