I am loving my ‘new’ screened porch. It is like this little unturned gem for me. I got lost in all the unpacking (much of the stuff that you don’t know what to do with ended up on that porch) when we moved and by the time I had the house in order, our cat was looking for a place to have her kittens. The offer of the screened porch went on the table, and I’ve been cursing myself ever since. We cleaned up out there this past weekend from where the kittens made a big mess, and now we have this outdoor room! Caleb and I have literally been out there all day until his naptime. In fact, we went out so early, he was still in his pajamas and then we even ate lunch out there. Since it is enclosed, I’m okay with leaving the door cracked and coming in here to do a few things. I would love to get a full glass storm door to go there so that I can leave the main door open and be able to see him. We put his sandbox out there so it ends up with less bugs in it. His potty training reward will be going out there (pictures will follow pretty soon, it is on its way here!). I put his little Cars table and chairs set out there. I started to have him come in for lunch and then I thought, hey why not, so I asked him if he wanted to eat out on the porch. He was thrilled of course. I have a bench out there for myself to sit on. There’s toy box that was given to us is housing some battery operated loud annoying toys that are usually inside toys but can be used and kept in our new outdoor playroom as long as they don’t get wet.
When I brought the camera out there, Caleb started making goofy faces, pausing for a few seconds on each one to give me a chance to photograph it. So silly!

Lunchtime! Peanut butter and jelly, imagine that!

I love, love, love your photos of him! And I’m all excited because I was FINALLY able to save your Feed on My Yahoo. For some reason it hasn’t worked until tonight. Yay! We’ve been having computer trouble, so I’ve been trying to get all my bookmarks onto My Yahoo so I can bring them with me anywhere.
I love your screened porch! I wish ours was screened. I’ll go see what you guys have been up to now….
