Scott called me in the room when he was getting Caleb ready for bed. “Tell Momma” he said. “My butt is bwoken Mom, it got a cwack in it. I can get a new one.” Yep, okay I’ll have one new butt to go please, preferably with no crack in it. Now wouldn’t that be strange.

Mental image. Okay so anyway. I got a lot done today. Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, 4 loads of laundry, and still plenty of time to draw aquadoodle roads for Automoblox Minis and play Thomas on the computer. Now I just have 10 or so loads of laundry to fold tomorrow and I’ll be all caught up for twenty seven minutes before the first sock hits hamper and I have to feed someone. Jeez why do humans have to eat so often. Someone should really look into that.

So about tomorrow. Scott family has deemed it picture day. Apparently there is no other day between now and MAY that the other four grandchildren (two are brother and sister) can manage to be in one place. So they want Caleb, the fifth and only other grandchild to be in the picture. This is for Gooch’s birthday/mothers day (that’s the grandmother). I want him to be in it. I really do. But I can’t look at a professional framed photo of his black eye from now on every time I go. This experience has be too stressful and emotional. Am I wrong? Should I expect them to reschedule? They are being extremely insistent about him being in it (insert multiple guilt trips here). I feel like an ass if I say no but I don’t want to relive the look on his face when this happened every time I visit my mother inlaw. I know I am making a big deal out of this. But that’s how I feel. So I don’t know what to do. I guess we’ll see how it looks in the morning. It is every color of the rainbow today.

Today:

When I dismantled all the Christmas stuff today, he decided to use the tree skirt as a magician’s cape.  And every magician needs a spoon wand.
