If you have toddlers and/or preschoolers at home, and you haven’t seen Word World yet, I must say, you’re missing out. Caleb adores this show!!  Which is certainly fine by me, as it has tremendous educational value for this age group. We have about 20 episodes on the DVR now. The characters are cute, the colors are bright and cheerful, it is just a lot of fun. Target is now carrying an exclusive line of Word World toys. You can check the website here to see when it comes on in your area.

PS I know this is “fluff” as Val over at Stinky John Jones calls it.  I’ll be back with some more original content in the coming days.  Just didn’t want you to think I fell off the map.  We are having unusually ‘cold’ weather for August, the high on Wednesday is only supposed to be 75!  So I have a master plan for some fun activities surrounding this unseasonably cool weather.

    My kids love Word World!! Another favorite is SuperWhy. Both shows have on line games- pbskids.org, which they also love!

    Goodness, our hih for today is also 75 and it’s like a heat wave here! Supposed to be 80+ come Thursday and we’ll all be dying!

    Great “fluff”! ha! Soon, I too will be posting some…..not much happening here.

    As for the weather……I’m freezing!
