notice a trend?

Is it possible that I forgot so quickly how messy babies really are? I am going back through old pictures as part of a Christmas present. Believe it or not, this involves going through 5,246 pictures from the first 12 months alone, and over 13,000 photos total. Needless to say it is taking me a while. I started noticing a trend in the photos that I grabbed from the first year folder. Food everywhere. Wow. I cringe just looking at some of them! I mean, he still gets messy, but not usually to this degree!

He hit his head on a plastic container, his first ‘real’ boo-boo. So I gave him a popsicle!

There is actually a chunk of whatever he was eating stuck in his hair. Some kind of bread maybe?

Of course his first birthday was no exception. He had his very own smash cake.

I actually found a bit of icing on the wall when we painted six months later.
