leaves, on the tree and on the ground

I thought this tree would photograph better than it did.

Peaceful

I just love the trees that are several different colors on one branch.

Sunset up the street from the park

Peeved because I spied a good ‘backdrop’ and he wasn’t interested in taking pictures.

Another good backdrop, but still not interested.  He’s rather pick berries off bushes instead.

Not that you can really see very well, but there were tons of leaves coming down when I took this.  It looks like it is raining leaves, and the sound is amazing.  I wish it would stay like this for months.  Is it fall all year long anywhere??!

Throwing leaves

What?  Is there something in my hair?

He decided to help me rake.  For 37 seconds.  Then he threw the rake down and jumped back in the pile.  And what a pile.  It was too dark by the time I was done tonight, but I’ll show you tomorrow what I raked.  And maybe even a picture of my blisters along with it.  Caleb did get his little rake and help me out some.  Like actually helped me (not typical toddler “help”) get about 1% of the leaves out into the street.  Considering he’s 3, and there were 3 metric tons of leaves, I think that’s an accomplishment.

But he definitely had more fun that me

I believe I can fly…..

Yep, his little dog landed on his head right after the shutter closed here

He was content to do it again…

and again

and again.

and be buried in leaves

I manual focused this in next to no light for me to even see (the auto focus couldn’t find a thing with the flash) and handheld the camera at 1/10th of a second, so I thought it came out decent given those facts.  PS I’m not that bad at haircuts, he has a leaf hanging there in the back.  I like the lens flares from the street lights too.  Have no clue why we have different bulbs, but one is orange and one is the greenish color.

I love the closeup pic of him looking up at you because he looks like a baby!
