Somehow the subject of Kids Say The Darndest Things came up at the breakfast table.  I started looking it up on youtube while we were sitting there.  I got up to clear the table and get Caleb cleaned up.  He had eaten pancakes and his hands were all sticky.  I wiped off his cup of milk and handed it to him, then went about putting the dishes in the dishwasher.  He returned moments after he left, complaining that his cup was still sticky.  We seem to be having a high maintenance day anyhow, as we had a meltdown over washing hands this morning.  I reassured him that I had indeed wiped it off already, and told him he was welcome to use the wet washcloth on the table to wipe it again.  He did so, and after completing the task to his satisfaction he exclaimed “Oh just look at that baby shine!”

    LOL! Cute! Have you noticed that he repeats things that you say (later on)? Daniels exclaims about things and I realized that he’s repeating ME. Cute when he says stuff- I must sound like an idiot!!! :D
