June 2005: Man it's hot!

I can't decide which would be worse, still being pregnant in the summer, or having a newborn. Both seem equally draining at this point.

As you can probably tell by the pictures, I am having a lot of fun dressing up my little man. I think most people leave their babies in onesies and sleepers at this age. But no, no, I would rather see how cute I can possibly dress him.

Caleb can't STAND to be placed on his tummy. And I don't like to hear him scream, therefore he has gotten almost zero tummy time! The doctors make a big deal about being on their tummys, which of course makes a first time mom nervous. But Mommy knows best!

Well Baby Visit: 2 Months

6.10.05 - 12 lbs 9oz. and 23 1/8 in.

First Father's Day: 6.19.05

I made a matching shirt and onesie for Scott and Caleb using a picture of Daddy and Baby that was taken around 2 weeks old. I wrote "I love my Daddy on the picture in all different colors using a font that looked like a child's handwriting, then ironed them onto the shirts. I dressed Caleb is in his onesie and a sleepsack the night before. When we woke up to get Caleb changed and fed around 5am, Scott was so surprised to see what Caleb was wearing! We have him his shirt later on in the morning.
