13 pictures taken over the last few weeks that I dumped on the computer, but never really looked through.

Peering in the bush for his monster truck that he dropped in there

It’s a hard life

Proof, looks can kill, especially mice

I wish I had thought to use this as an autumn desktop photo!

…or this…

13 Things I am Thankful for:
- My family, my wonderful husband who works so hard for us and our beautiful son who is absolutely the light of our existance.
- Our health, Caleb’s health
- Our home, a roof over our heads
- Plenty of food to eat…it is so easy to take the simple things for granted
- Our safety and freedom, thank you to all of the troops that aren’t able to eat Turkey and relax with their families, all of the officers who are riding in patrol cars today instead of hanging out at home watching movies, all of the fireman who are putting out cooking escapades gone wrong
- The love that Caleb has for Charley, his little giraffe. He talks to him and makes Charley talk back in this high pitched voice. Charley tells me goodnight and that he loves me
- A magical upcoming Christmas that will be on tape with a new video camera to capture that amazement that only a child on Christmas morning can display
- The way the house smells right now with my first homecooked Thanksgiving meal in three years
- The gorgeous autumn that we’ve had this year, driving around and seeing the colors in their peak has just taken my breath away
- Friends…I may not keep in touch as I should, but when I find two seconds to hide out in the bathroom where I can hear most of what you’re saying over the cars and trucks ramming into the door, I really cherish our time catching up
- Hugs…from family, from friends, from my two year old, when someone wraps their arms around me in a warm embrace
- Memories I have with my grandmother, I can’t help but think of her today, our first Thanksgiving without her, I can hear her laugh and remember how stubborn she was, how I’m sure everything was proper and perfect when she prepared her own Thanksgiving feast, and how I’m sure she, more recently, ordered those around who were preparing her meal, making sure that they did it according to the Zula standards
- And really, it wouldn’t be complete if I wasn’t thankful for chocolate!

A warning for moms: stay away from toysrus.com! The shop by age category may have cost me $200! Even though some of the stuff is grossly miscategorized. A tummy time mat for a 3-4 year old??

He LOVES to help Daddy work on things, and Scott can do almost anything to a car, so of course the engine on the toolbench appeals to him.
This puppet theater hangs in a doorway, gotta love that! He loves for me to animate the one puppet we have, and I think he will enjoy doing it himself soon
He does like Thomas (and the small aquadoodle I did a review on recently) so I thought this would be neat. The train follows the “tracks!” Of course people on Amazon gave it bad reviews because the train got confused/couldn’t follow 90+ degree turns *rolls eyes*
Playdoh activity center
This game got bad reviews, but I’m being stubborn because it looks so cute! I think I’ll buy it local and try it out, that way I can take it back pre-Christmas if it sucks.
The photographer in me wants him to have his own camera :) This is a new vtech one that I haven’t seen yet, of course Fisher Price makes one as well.
A tabletop easel with NO SPILL paint cups
Going along with the puppet theme, make your own puppets, I love them, they’re so cute! I think the parts are interchangeable, in other words not permanent.
I want to see this soooo bad!
A membership to the children’s museum. Yes I blocked out the city on the sign. Might not be too hard to figure out, with internet research, but I’m not advertising.

Hot Wheels storage. Need I say more?
Teddy Ruxpin is a maybe at this point, but it sure makes me feel all nostalgic!
A game that did get good reviews, a cute little monkey version of Kerplunk.
