This will be our first year really playing Santa. We have told Caleb all about Santa, and I’ve been thinking about different traditions we could use to create the magic. I even found some snowy boot print stencils online! (Seeing as how it never snows here, that doesn’t seem very practical. I guess it could be tracked straight from the North Pole.) He will be getting some pajamas tonight that are dropped off by one of Santa’s elves, with an attached note telling him to get ready for bed in his special jammies, because Santa will be by soon! I bought a plate from JC Penny that comes with a pen. It has a Santa letter on the plate. You can fill in whether you’ve been nice or naughty, and what presents you would like from Santa. So we’ll leave cookies and milk out of Santa. Hope he likes Nestle Tollhouse (the break and bake variety), because frankly, this elf is running low on time! Do you have any neat traditions for bringing the magic of Santa to life?
