A couple of visits ago Caleb brought his bike and we went to Winston-Salem and rode around Salem lake. They are rebuilding the dam so the lake was really low. Tons of people were there walking/ running and biking around the lake…6.8 miles….dirt path probably big enough to drive a car on with rocks and dips and hills. Took us about 4 hrs to complete the journey how ever there was a lot of stops along the way. Several creeks supply the lake and where the water was so low the creeks had cut a channel in the now dry lake bed. Caleb could not resist splashing rocks in the creeks and it was a rather nice setting for a few pics along with a few from the ride…. x marks the spot…by the way it was a little difficult with training wheels , but you can bet they will be gone before summer is over.

Just a little quikie….I am a heating and air tech. A couple of weeks ago I got a call to go to Spray Baptist Church for a servise call…..it ended up bein a tripped breaker but when I walked out the door I was shocked at what I found… a million bees….I was told they were honey bees and a queen must have gotten out and the hive followed . The pics are from a little distance….for safety reasons… look at the sky around the tree… but the branch they were on was about 3/4 of an inch thick without bees, but with bees it was abour 4 inches thick….no loud noises ok…dont wanna make’em mad…
