…in the blink of an eye. My little tiny baby has grown into a boy. He has opinions. He wants everyone to wear their shoes in the house. He would rather play outside all day and night if allowed. He loves anything with wheels. He hates getting his teeth brushed. He is content in the car and still rides rear facing in his carseat. He is 27lbs 12ozs, and nearing the 3 foot mark (34.25 inches).

I made 4, yes four birthday cakes yesterday. His cake is a layer and a half. The first two cakes flopped miserably. Caleb ate lunch while one of the cakes was baking. I took too long in tending to cleaning him up. This was the result.

The birthday party was a success. We had a lot of fun, and this year my pictures came out excellent. Much in thanks to my camera (I got a Rebel XT for xmas), but also the weather cooperated very well. The outdoor lighting was perfect for shooting in RAW + jpeg, which means I can do plenty of editing. However, I was quite impressed with the colors on the jpegs. Right now I’m tired, and I must put my worn out little two year old to bed.
